Parent Resources is a free drop in center that is also open on Saturdays during the school year. Generally it is open from 9:00am until 12:30pm but sometimes they have field trips so be sure to check their schedule online.
Parent Resources is shoes off which is nice if your baby is still crawling. They also have a gated babies only area which is very nice if you are want to be a little more protective of your infant. There circle time is a bit hard to follow for an infant though which is this drop ins major downside. Lots of counting, naming months, etc. Jacob just wasn’t able to follow along. The older kids seemed more able to participate. While I hate to say anything bad about a drop in, since they are such important places, I felt it was also a bit darker in this drop in then I would like since it’s in a basement.
I never really went to Parent Resources as much as the other drop ins though. I think in part because when I went there I felt like there were very few moms and many more nannies. That said it’s still great for the kids and has some of the best hours (open every day).
